Extending "discount period" of Express Train ticket : Passengers from the Southeast Asia(8,000=>6,900won)

There has one useful information for foreign tourists in Korea. The Airport Railroad decided to extend event period for passengers by Thai Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Malaysia Airlines and etc.(Airlines from Southeast) until 30th of June, 2016.

Passengers by Thai Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Malaysia Airlines can purchase Express Train ticket as 6,900won(original price : 8,000won). Just visit "Customer Service Center" or "Travel Center" in the Seoul station & Incheon Int'l Airport station and show flight tickets(including E-ticket, within 7 days from boarding date) and then you can get discount price of Express Train ticket.

This event had been carried from 16th of November, 2015 to 29th of February, 2016, however, due to good feedback from passengers, the Airport Railroad decided to extend until 30th of June, 2016.

The AREX(Airport Railroad Express) is only one railroad which connects the Incheon Int'l Airport, Gimpo Int'l Airport to Seoul. The Express Train goes nonstop between Incheon Int'l Airport and Seoul Station and All stop Train stops at all 11 stations in-between Incheon Int'l Airport and Seoul Station, such as Gongdeok Station and Hongik Univ. Station.

And you can enjoy your travel conveniently with no baggage and no waiting line at Incheon Int'l Airport, owing to getting services like flight check-in and departure procedure of Immigration in City Airport Terminal of Seoul Station(B2). Moreover, there has currency exchange in City Airport Terminal, so you can change money as your country one before leaving Korea. Facilities like restaurant, cafe are also located in City Airport Terminal of Seoul Station.

After departure procedure in City Airport Terminal of Seoul Station and going Incheon Int'l Airport by Express Train, you can use the designated entreance on the departure hall(3rd floor) without waiting line, in Incheon Int'l Airport.

West sea trip by Airport Railroad and maglev train

If you want to have special experiences before departing, you may take a time at the Inchon Int'l Airport. Magnetic levitation train from Inchon Int'l Airport to Yongyu Station were opened on 3rd of February, secondly, in the world. So, you can enjoy West sea around Youngyu Island.

The last stop of Airport Railroad is Inchon Int'l Airport and it can be directly transferred to maglev train at second floor of transportation center. The maglev train route is "Inchon Int'l Airport - Long Term parking - Administration Complex - Int'l Business Center - Water Park - Young Yu" and total length of train line is 6.1km. Maglev train runs every 15min from 9am to 6pm. Maximum speed of the maglev train is 110km/h and ticket price is free.

Bus No. 302 or 306 will take you from the Youngyu station to the Seonnyeobawi Beach(heavenly maid's rock), Eurwangni Beach(has many convenient facilities) and quiet Wangsan beach, so these tree attractive tourist spot will satisfy your five senses.

If you want to have special memory with family,  1 hour of tracking course in Nuri-gil of Muui Sea will be an affectionate roads.

Why don't you have mountain tracking in island? The Muuido Horyong Goksan provides special tracking course which is from Gwangmyeong port to the Horyong Goksan, Guksabong Peak, and Muuido wharf. It takes 3~4hours and Airport Rail roads can take you there only. Before you leave Korea, I strongly recommend these tracking course as a gift of trip.

This restaurant is original style of Tteokokki so many people stop by this restaurant for the memory of tasty of their young ages. Hot and attractive Tteokbokki sauce is awesome. The price of Tteokbokki is 3,000won. You can taste fish cake, fried food, Sundae(kind of Korean sausage. It is pig's gut that is filled with pig's blood, cellophane noodles and vegetables) and Kimbab(rice roll), so you should not miss them~!

Romantic Seoul night view; let's go to the Naksan Park by Airport Railroad~!

A lot of movie buffs are waiting for the 88th Academy Awards on 28th February, because wide variety of genres of movies are shown on this festival.

If you are huge movie fan but if you cannot join the Academy Awards for traveling korea on this period, you should drop by Daehangno. The Daehangno is street of culture and art in Seoul - about 700meter from Hyehwa-dong to Ihwa-dong - and opens a lot of cultural event. various genres of plays which include Korean emotions(comic, melodramatic) and talk show will give you pleasure with inexpensive price.

Moreover, you can find Naksan Park, which is known as night view place and another hidden tourist mecca in Daehangno~! This place is walk distance from Daehangno and connects to the Dongdaemun Seonggwak Park so you can even watch night view of the Heunginjimun Gate.

Heunginjimun Gate is Korean National Treasure No.1 and located in Jongno 6ga, jongno-gu in Seoul, which is normally called 'Dongdaemun’

It takes about 20~30min from Hyehwa station to the Naksan Park. Climbing up to hill by road sign, you can see whole Seoul city, including N-Seoul Tower. You can catch the past and present Seoul image, walking along ramparts.

There has walking road beside the ramparts, and you can take a rest on bench in the park. The sunset view of Naksan Park is awesome as well.

The Naksan park is connected to the Ihwa Mural Village. There has several snug cafes, and the cafe 'In the hills' is famous for the wide scenery on terrace.

You can find the "In the hills" cafe from stairs at the village entrance painted with big flowers. why don't you take a sip of coffee in the cafe and see the night scenery of Seoul?

From the cafe to the exit of rampart road, it takes about 2min and you don't have to be afraid of dark of night because there has light along the road and you may experience another feeling of Naksan Park, unlike sunset of Naksan Park.

And, if you go down more, there has Dongdaemun Seonggwak Park, and you can even find Heunginjimun Gate with 20min walk.

City Airport Terminal of Seoul Station starts check-in service at China Southern Airlines reception

Airport Railroad had an opening celebration of China Southern Airlines on 3rd February and started check-in service, such as boarding procedure and baggage consignment.

For this reason, passengers are able to take boarding procedure of four air lines - China Southern Airlines, Korean Airlines, Asiana Airlines and Jeju Airlines - at City Airport Terminal of Seoul Station. Check-in counter opens 05:20am ~ 07:00pm throughout the year and passengers of four air lines should finish check-in 3 hours before departing.

The China Southern Airlines is the biggest airline company in Asia, which carries more than 90,000,000 passengers per year and 60% of passengers for Korean route is Chinese, so the China Southern Airlines beat the largest scale of international airlines in Inchon Int'l Airport.
